GAME MODES

SPEED MODE

In speed mode, there are no props to collect. Instead, you will accumulate Nitrogen by drifting.
If you do a perfect drift, you will retain all the Nitrogen collected. Filling up the entire bar will give you one charge of N2O which you can use as you would a normal prop. Colliding with another player or hitting a wall during/after drifting will cause the racer to lose the Nitrogen collected. Some items will allow you to retain part of the Nitrogen collected even in the event of a collision.
In Team Speed mode, there is an additional bar to accumulate team Nitrogen. It will increase whenever any members of the team drift.
Filling the team Nitrogen bar will cause all team members to have one of their N2O charges converted into an enhanced N2O prop. It will be blue, and has an extended duration.
 ->
Unlike Team Props mode, which grants a team a win based only on the first player to reach the finish line, Team Speed mode calculates the individual points of each player depending on each player’s position in the race. The total points of each team will determine the winner.
The points are awarded as follows:
1st Place: 10 points
2nd Place: 8 points
3rd Place: 6 Points
4th Place: 4 Points
5th Place: 3 Points
6th Place: 2 Point
Incomplete: 0 Points

BATTLE ARENA

Speed racing! Reckless driving! Prop battles! After all the chasing, overtaking and standard speed modes, don’t you get a little tired?

A new way to pwn your friends and foes! Tired of driving in circles round and round a track? Introducing Battle Arena mode, with a new set of maps where no two matches are alike!
Will you spend your time killing everyone off with the props, or will you evade your opponents will stealthily creeping around picking up the Kubis? The all-new props system means you have to be looking out for enemies all around you, so stay alert!
How to Play

The maps in Battle Arena are more entertaining, with tracks on which you can drive in any direction you like, instead of a linear forward-only track. To win the game, one rule is needed: pick up more Kubis than anyone else!

The maps in Battle Arena give you a little more freedom, with tracks where you can drive in any direction you like, instead of the usual linear track. To win the game, there is only one rule: pick up more Kubis than anybody else!
Remember that little thing that pops up on your screen after the dreaded sound of a mosquito buzzing? Well that’s Kubi! Really annoying, but nonetheless adorable! What animal is it? A bear? A monkey? A cat with a weird helmet on? We’ve no idea either!

There will be improved props in the Battle Arena map. Players who are successfully hit by props will drop a Kubi. What would you do? Grab as many Kubis as possible at all costs while going all out to attack other players for their prized bounty, or lay low and sneakily pick up Kubis when everyone’s occupied? It’s all about tactics!

Don’t be too intensively engaged in the game to spare a glance at the minimap every once in awhile! It shows the positions of Kubis, props, as well as the other players and how many Kubis they have on them. It also displays the range of your currently equipped props. Lock onto your target and attack by releasing Ctrl!

Elimination rules:

1. After 30 seconds of safety time, if you’re stuck with 0 Kubis and get attacked using props or fall into a Death Plane, you will be eliminated!

2. When the round’s almost over, a 10-second countdown will ensue, and it’ll be a mad rush – especially if you’re the player with the lowest Kubis in tow! You must overtake the 2 players ahead of you before the countdown or experience the bitter taste of defeat!

Eliminated players can choose to stay and watch the game from another player’s point of view (press Spacebar to switch view), or exit the game, forfeiting the rewards.

Safeguard your Kubis and try your best to attack your enemies! In the Individual Battle Arena mode, you need to eliminate all other players to win the game. In the Team mode, work together with your teammates to eliminate all the players of the rival team!

Introduction to props

The props in Battle Arena allow the player to attack in a radius. When you press Ctrl, a green circle will appear on the thumbnail map to indicate the effective range of the props, and meanwhile, you can see the sight beads that indicate the objects you are attacking. When the enemies enter the radius of your prop range, release Ctrl to attack them!
Missle:
The missile here has the same attacking effects as that in the Props mode. However, it is more intelligent after improvements. It does not need the player to aim manually, but can automatically trace and attack the player who has the most Kubis within the green circle. The attacked player will drop a Kubi.
Kubi Bomb:
The Kubi Bomb here has the same effect as that in Props mode, but. It will automatically trace and attack the player who has the least Kubis within the green circle. The attacked player will drop a Kubi.
Tornado:
In this mode, the tornado will no longer stay in the same position waiting for unwitting players. Instead, it will sweep around, a fearsome force that sends all the players ahead of you spinning in the air. However, this prop takes a bit of skill to master!
Landmine:
The Landmine here is improved from the landmine in the Obstacles mode. Stay out of the blast radius!
Demon:
The demon in this mode has the same annoying effect of swapping directions for all enemy players.
Nitrogen:
It has the same effects as that in the Props mode, with a few new perks that allow you to escape Missiles and burst through a Tornado without the adverse effects.
Turtle:
Like that in Props mode, the Turtle prop slows your opponents to a crawl.
Self-explosion:
A brand-new prop that will blast all players who are silly enough to come near you. Every player who is caught within the blast will drop a Kubi, except for the user of the bomb.
Magnet:
The Magnet will aim the closest player in range. Best used in conjunction with the Self Explosion or Land Mine!
Angel:
Angel is similar to that in the Props mode, albeit with a longer duration. It also protects teammates as well.
Shield:
A new defence prop, it can protect the user from attacks for a certain length of time, and can clear the effects of the Demon. It is a powerful prop.
*Tips: To ensure fair play, the “Countdown Card” and “Protection Card” have no effect in the Battle Arena.
